Barbara A.’s Obituary Barbara A. Liguori, 65, of Shawnee on Delaware, passed away Tuesday evening, March 19, 2019, at Morris Hills Center in Morristown, NJ. She was the wife of John E. Liguori with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born on August 11, 1953 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Spies) Haniquet and lived in Monroe County since 1991, moving from Baldwin, Long Island, NY.

Barbara was a beloved mother and also a substitute school teacher at Blairstown Elementary School in Blairstown, NJ. She was a member and former Deacon of Shawnee Presbyterian Church and, compelled by her love of nature, also an early member of the Shawnee Preservation Society. In addition to her husband, surviving are two children, Elissa Liguori and Jon Liguori both of Shawnee on Delaware.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Haniquet. Private services will be at the convenience of the family and cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Shawnee Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 145, Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA 18365.
