Mrs. Barbara Ann Richardson, 79, formerly of Morgantown, Indiana, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis on Monday, February 11, 2019. She was born on August 9, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late William Evert and Thelma Arline (Brown) Mitchell. In 1957 she was married to Thomas W. Richardson in Indianapolis.

He preceded her in death on September 28, 2015. Barbara graduated from Shortridge High School in 1957. She was a homemaker most of her life and a member of The United Pentecostal Church where she was a licensed minister.

She was very involved in ministry to Native Americans in Nebraska and Arizona. She had also traveled overseas to Guam to do missionary work. Barbara loved to share the gospel in missionary work.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy, Kevin and Michael; daughter, Wendy; along with their respective families. She had eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Frank sister-in-law, Sue Ann. She was also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers; Henry and Michael Funeral Services are planned for 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana with Pastor Joe Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
