Barbara E. Bowen, age 85, of Woodville, OH passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on April 21, 1932 in Job, KY to William Homer and Letha (Marcum) Pack. On January 17, 1950 she married Ted Bowen in Louisa, KY and he survives.

For 17 years she worked at St. Charles Hospital, Oregon in the housekeeping department. Barbara was an active member of the Church of Christ, Fremont, OH. She was a very giving person who became a friend to all who met her. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 68 years: Ted, daughters: Connie (Paul) Runion and Vickie (Larry) Shue both of Woodville, son: Dr. Mitch (Patty) Bowen of Muscle Shoals, AL, 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and sisters: Neva Jean Hatfield of Sunbury, OH, Sandy (David) Proctor of Ashland, KY and Wendy (Paul) Witten of Inez, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Josephine (Al) Pinson.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Woodville, OH where a funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11 AM. There will be additional visitation on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Sean Rizor.

Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the Troy- Webster American Legion Post #240, Luckey, OH immediately following the cemetery committal service. Memorial contributions may be given to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Woodville Twp.
