Brian A. Hersch, 57 of Bowling Green, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 11, 2018 at The Cleveland Clinic. He was born on March 29, 1961 to Kenmore and Rita (Bunk) Hersch in Toledo, Ohio. Brain was a 1979 graduate of Rossford Highschool.

On October 2, 1982 he married Maria A. Puhl at St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. Together they raised two children and celebrated over 35 years of marriage. Brian worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years.

He most recently worked at Scott’s Automotive… Read More » the last 5 years and at Larry’s Stuarts Auto Repair 20 years prior to that. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and riding his Harley. However, Brian, most loved being with his wife, children and especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Maria, Brian is survived by his daughter: Ashley (Luke) Harpel of Luckey, OH, son: Curtis (Emily) Hersch of Perrysburg, OH, grandchildren: Jace, Maddox, Crue, Grant and Katelyn, brothers: Christopher Hersch, Tim (Robin) Hersch, Kerry (Mary) Hersch, sisters: Dorian Thome, Amy Hersch and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Addison Harpel, father and mother-in-law: Richard and Helen Puhl, niece: Erin Puhl and sister-in-law: Cindy Hersch. Guests are asked to join other family and friends in a Celebration of Brian’s life at an Open House beginning at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the family’s home located on Main Road in Bowling Green.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to: the Hersch family in an effort to benefit the grandchildren’s college education c/o Maria Hersch. Those wishing to express a word of encouragement, share a memory or photo may do so at www.
