Barbara Jean Brickey October 10, 1941 – February 11, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Barbara Jean Allen Brickey, 77, Elizabethton, passed a way Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Candler, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Chester & Hazel DeHart Allen, she had lived a number of years in Elizabethton. She was a graduate of Enka High School, Enka, North Carolina.

Barbara was a retired Phlebotomist at Johnson City Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Coy Brickey, October 17, 2018 and two sisters: Johnnie McIntyre and Catherine Ballard. Survivors include two children: Tammy Bishop and Wendi Hardin both of Elizabethton.

Three Grandchildren: Breck Bishop, Chase Markland and Zac Workman. Two Sisters: Linda Broms and husband Gary, Rita Valladares & husband Jose and a brother: Ricky Taylor all of Candler, North Carolina. It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
