Mr. Walter Joseph Davenport, age 63, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence. A native of Albany, GA he was the son of the late Eugene Howard and Babette Zenkel Davenport. Mr. Davenport retired from being a professional painter.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed painting and hunting. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sandy Davenport; a son, Jeremy Rouse; four brothers, David Davenport and wife Pat, Gene Davenport, Ricky Davenport and wife Pam and Ernie Davenport and wife Lucy and three sisters, Betty Plemons and husband Charlie, Shirley Thomas and husband Joe and Carmen Buckles and husband Randell.

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Private disposition will be held by the family at a later date. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to American Heart Association, Living Legacy Partnership, 1101 North Chase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067.
