Etta Mae Ingram November 19, 1934 – February 07, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Etta Mae Estep Ingram, 84, Elizabethton passed peacefully into eternal rest at her home on February7, 2019 following an extended illness. She was born November 19, 1934 in Elizabethton, the third daughter of Ray & Clara Shoun Estep. She was a 1953 graduate of Unaka High School and was a member of the girls’ basketball team.

She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Virl Ingram, two sisters: Sue Butler and Grace Wellborn, two grandsons: Kenneth Bailey and Keith Dugger, several aunts, uncles & cousins. She was an avid UT Vol fan.

She is survived by her six children: Clara Ingram, Roan Mountain, and Bill Ingram, of the home. Estill (Ilene) Ingram, Elizabethton, Donna (David) Greer of Jonesborough, Jerry Ingram, Elizabethton, Susan Graves of Pigeon Forge, TN. One sister, Marian (Allen) Brew of Michigan, 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great- Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

She is also survived by 2 cousins, several nieces and nephews and many friends. She lived to see five generation of her family. She was a charter member of the Wild Mountain Roses, Chapter 11, and Order of Confederate Rose and was also a past member of the Women of the Moose.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Rev. John Peters and Chaplain Chris Hughes will be officiating and her Granddaughter, Rita Laymon delivering the Eulogy.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20a.m. are Stuart Ingram, Logan Ingram, Anthony Ingram, Grant Ingram, Sam Bailey, Keith Sadler, Paul Laymon and Mike Deaton. Honorary Pallbearers are David Greer, Keith Ingram, Lindsey Rash II, Ray Ingram, John Brew, Tom Brew, Eddie Butler, Mike Butler, and Dale Welborn.
