Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Jean Jones, 63, of Ironton, passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. The Pocatello, ID native was born April 12, 1955, a daughter of the late Harry Earl and Betty Toombs Hess. She is survived by husband, Robert L. Jones, whom she married January 9, 1976.

Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Pocatello High School and the Bluefield St. College. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and an employee of Toyota for 17 years, retiring in 2017. Barbara is also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by: three daughters: Amanda Jones of London, England, April Caldwell of Ironton and Angela (Scot) Kyle of Summerville, SC four grandchildren: Austin Jones, Alyssa Jones, and Bailey George all of Ironton and Katherine Kyle of Summerville, SC a brother: Harry “Bucky” (Lauralee) Hess of ID three sisters: Vicki (Jerry) Winterbottom, Sue Ann (Dale) Bowman and Kelly (Ronn) Wartenbe all of ID two brothers-in-law: Charles Jones and Sam Jones III all of WV two sisters-in-law: Debra (Donald) Goodson and Cathy (Marvin) Smallwood af VA her mother-in-law: Margaret Carter of WV Graveside services will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 in Woodland Cemetery with Bishop Sven Berg officiating. No pulic visitation will be scheduled and Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio is assisting the family with the arrangements.
