Freeda Darlene Phillips 77 of Ironton, Ohio gained her wings to heaven on Saturday May 18, 2019 leaving from the Jo Lin Care Center in Ironton. The Lawrence County native was born June 26, 1941, a daughter of the late James P. Phillips and the late Dessie Jane Barker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Gary Phillips and 2 sisters; Hazel Haskins and Gladys Gillispie.

She is survived by her brother; Alonzo Beair of Pedro, Ohio and a host of family and friends. Graveside funeral rites will be conducted on Tuesday May 21, 2019 at :2:00 pm in the Warneke Cemetery in Pedro, Ohio with her Pastor from the Decateur Missionary Baptist Church Officiating .
