Betty’s Obituary Betty J. Boggs, 84, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. The Boyd County, Kentucky native was born June 19, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Monnie Duley Callihan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Boggs, who passed away July 6th, 2018.

Betty attended Ironton Schools and was a former Nurse Aid for Jo-Linn Nursing Home, where she retired in 1985 after 11 years of service. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers: John Lee Callihan, Jr. and Jim Callihan and a sister: Mary Cooper She was survived by: three sons: Jack Boggs of Palm Coast, Florida, Paul Boggs of Ironton, Ohio, and Jerry Boggs of Merritt Island, Florida Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Haverhill Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
