Obituary for Barbara Louise Scott Barbara Stubbs Scott “Nana”, 90, mother and grandmother, passed away on April 13, 2018. She is survived by her son, Larry Scott (Gayle); daughter, Diane Scott Jenkins; grandchildren, Justin (Amber), Matt, Scott (Courtney), and Elizabeth (Ryan); great grandchildren, Jagger, Waylyn, Carter, Emery, and Colt. Barbara was born in Birmingham and graduated from Phillips High School in 1946.

Barbara began her career as a bookkeeper and at age 49 transitioned to selling real estate in the North Jefferson Area. Her hobbies included cooking, crochet, and crossword puzzles. Barbara attended Gardendale First Baptist Church.

Mama Scott will be missed by the many family members and friends she touched over her 90 years. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of The New Gardendale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
