Barbara’s Obituary TILDEN – Barbara S. Holliday, 77, of Tilden, passed away at 6:54 pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, Illinois. Barbara was born on February 23, 1941, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Beulah Norman Enright. She married Dennis E. Holliday on July 4, 1959 in East St. Louis.

He preceded her in death on December 26, 2006. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta and St. Ann Altar Sodality. Barbara worked at Kroger, and had been an active member of the Randolph County Relay for Life.

She enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Barbara is survived by two sons, Michael (Rochelle) Holliday of Vandalia, IL and Kevin (Lynette) Holliday of Tilden; grandchildren, D.J. (Andi) Holliday, Brandon (fiancée, Ashley) Holliday, Stephen Holliday, Trevor Holliday, Tiffany (Jeremy) Grab and Tarra (Rob) Persing; and great grandchildren, Alexis and Kyson Holliday, Teagan Holliday and Hailey Grab. Barbara was also preceded in death by her Parents; two sons, Randall and Steven; brother, Frank Enright, Jr., and sister, Norma Jean Dobbs.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 15, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, with Father Vincent Mukasa officiating. Burial will follow in Tilden Cemetery. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, on Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm, with rosary being recited at 7:30 pm, then on Friday from 8 am until 10 am.

Memorials may be given to Relay for Life.
