Benny Jones, 57 left this life February 13, 2019 at his home in Tazewell, TN surrounded by his loving family. Benny was born October 21, 1962 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Carry and Sarah Elizabeth (Ayers) Jones. Benny was a disabled coal miner and employee of Oakwood Furniture Co. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Snobia Smith.

Benny is survived by his loving wife Velda Jones; 4 children, Kevin Jones of Kenvir, KY, Tiffany (Robbie) Howard of Wallins, Amber (Matt) Jones of Harlan, and Jimmy (Crystal) Plowman; he will be deeply missed by his 9 grandchildren, Hezakiah, Olivia, Gunner, Brooke, Camden, Kaylee, Karley, Mattie, and Patrick; his brothers, Edward (Wanda) Jones, Johnny (Cozetta) Jones all of Tazwell, TN, Wright (Margie) Jones of Cawood, Susie (Randall) Wynn of Baileys Creek, KY, Sudie (Dale) Keesee of Glade Springs, VA, Sarah (David) Risner of Kenvir, KY; also included in his loving family are Venice and Kricket Risner of Kenvir, KY and Nikita Risner; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends to mourn his passing. Visitation will be Sunday (Feb. 17) from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. George Pace officiating. Gravesides services will be 12:00 pm Monday (Feb.

18)at the Evarts Memorial Gardens at Verda KY. Family and Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 am. Please feel free to leave a condolence, memory, or photo at www.
