Margie’s Obituary Margie Lee Jones, age 68 of Hallie, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was born April 13, 1950 in Claiborne County, TN to the late Bob and Myrtle Meade Burke. Margie was a homemaker who believed in the Church of Christ faith.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Jones; and siblings, Shag Burke, Zack Burke, and Christine Roberts. She is survived by her sons, Greg Stamper of Hallie, KY and Robert Hamilton of Lynch, KY; brothers, Teddy Burke of Hindman, KY and Billy Joe Burke of London, KY; sisters, Brenda Caudill and Ollie Roberts of Leatherwood, KY and Tammy Bowling of Little Leatherwood, KY; grandchildren, Samantha and Makayla Stamper and Alexander Hamilton; and a host of other family and friends. In following Margie’s wishes, she is being cremated and no services are being held at this time.
