Faye’s Obituary Faye Parsons, age 87 of Gordon, KY departed this life at Hazard ARH on Monday, March 25, 2019. Born April 07, 1931 in Letcher County, KY, she received her Master’s Degree in Education and taught school for 32 years. Faye was a member of the Hurricane Gap Baptist Church at Gordon.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cecil Parsons; parents, John L. and Allie Shell Halcomb; and siblings, Mainus Halcomb, Elizabeth Noe and Minnie Lewis. Faye is survived by her son, Clarence Keith Parsons and his wife, Robyn, of Gordon; grandchildren, Andy Parsons, Drew and Charlotte Allison of Lexington, and Clint Parsons of Bardstown, KY; and a host of other family and friends. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 1 pm in the Halcomb Cemetery at Gordon, KY.
