Bernard L. Mullen, age 85, passed away April 24, 2018 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. Mr. Mullen was born in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Bernard and Sophie Mullen. He resided in the Huntington section of Shelton since 1967.

He was a retired subcontract manager for Norden Systems for more than 25 years and a member of the Norden Retirees Club. Mr. Mullen was a graduate of the University of CT where he received a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He served with the U.S. Army Signal Corp.

An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of the Brownson Country Club. Mr. Mullen was predeceased by his wife, Barbara McKee Mullen. Survivors include two sons, Richard and Steven Mullen both of Oxford, CT, one sister Patricia Farrell of New Bern, NC, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave. Huntington. Interment will be private.

Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Church.
