Bernard Samuel Strait Jr., age 83 of Murrysville passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his home. He was born April 26, 1935 in Buffalo, Ny, son of the late Florence V. Owens Strait and Bernard S. Strait Sr He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired manager for the Westinghouse Nuclear Division.

He enjoyed hunting, shooting and woodworking, including building furniture. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Haugen. Bernard is survived by his wife, Ulla Hauge Strait; a son, Bryan (Lisa) Strait of FL and two grandchildren, Eric and Alex.
