Bernice Louise (Newton) Wright, 57, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born on November 30, 1960, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Allen C. and Bertie L. (Havens) Newton. She was a devoted homemaker and loved caring for her family.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 21 years, John W. Wright, her mother, Bertie, five children: Davideshayne (Aubrey Thompson) Wells, Carlos Wells, Cristol Schofield, John J. Wright, and Joshua D. (Josie) Wright; twelve grandchildren… Read More » with one on the way, two great grandchildren, two brothers, William Newton and Joseph A. Newton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and one sister and one brother. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 5-7:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Sam Berger officiating.

Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
