WARDINE L. WILDER, 87, of Springfield, passed away in her home on Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Round Lake, Florida on November 17, 1930, the daughter of the late Erastus and Jessie R. (Russ) Simmons. Wardine is survived by two children, Constance Ann Narcho and Ernest J. and Pamela Bucklew Wilder, all of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Theresa Sullivan; six grandchildren, Christian (Chavalle) Narcho, Elizabeth (Ryan) Hester, Jessie… Read More » (Jason) Tingley, Katie Worthen, Michael Wilder, and Rebecca (Anthony) Waite; many great grandchildren; and favorite nephews, David (Rhonda) Creel and Ronnie (Phyllis) Creel.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William J. Wilder in 2013; son, Kenneth S. Wilder in 1996; daughter, Catherine “Cricket” Profitt in 2014; and sister, Louise Creel. The family wishes to express their thanks to Caroline and Jamie from Ohio’s Community Mercy Hospice for the devoted care given to Wardine. A private funeral service will be observed by the family.
