WILLIAM “BILL” E. PAXSON V, 51, of Springfield died unexpectedly as a result of a motorcycle accident on Wednesday October 10th, 2018 in Washington Court House. He is born January 2nd, 1967 in Springfield Ohio, the son of William E. Paxson IV and Donna J. (Roberts) Paxson. He is survived by his parents, William Paxson of Springfield and Donna Paxson (Bobby Temple) of Paulding, Ohio; his daughter and son-in-law, Chelby and Tyler Lacey of Springfield; he was a great father figure to Shelly… Read More » (Bob) Willmeth, D.J. Ward and Cayci Paxson; He is also survived by his fiancé, Christy Avery of 23 years; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Steven Herring of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren: Jackson and Jordan Lacey and Darcey, Gracie, and Everly Willmeth; mother of his children, Lisa Bellew; his two nephews: Brandan (Faith) Herring and Jarred (Lauren) Herring; two great nieces: Emi and Ella Herring; his best friend and motorcycle buddy Tony (Stacey) Cox of Springfield and his special buddy, Little Bit.

He graduated from South High School in 1985. He worked at Klosterman Bakery for 24 years in a variety of positions. He loved to be outside playing golf, hiking and kayaking.

At the age of seven he began his love for riding starting with a mini bike. He was a successful BMX rider placing first in the state and sixth in the nation as a young man. He was always up for an adventure and loved spending time riding his motorcycle especially in Tennessee.

He and his long-time riding buddy Tony, “tamed the tail of the dragon” a number of times while riding in Deal’s Gap. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Ciarra Michele Paxson in 1988. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, October 15th from 1-3 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, Springfield. A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. on Monday with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Online expressions of sympathy may be made through www.
