Bertha’s Obituary Bertha Ann (Miner) Haden, 79, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown. Born February 18, 1940, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter Keefauver and Cornelia Lucretia (Shry) Miner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Haden, Jr.; a sister, Lois Lorraine Haden and brother, Wilbur Scott Miner.

Bertha was a 1958 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She retired from Ravenwood Nursing Home as a dietary cook. She is survived by one daughter, Staci Ann Cloughley and husband Sean W. Cloughley of Hagerstown; her loving partner, Clarence Thomas Hutzell and his children, Tom, Doug, and Kathy; a brother, Paul W. Miner, Sr. of Williamsport; a granddaughter, Kristina Danielle Wolfensberger and husband Matthew Wolfensberger of Clear Spring; a grandson, Ronnie Lee “RK” Knight, II of Sharpsburg; three step-grandsons, Travis Clay Cloughley of McConnellsburg; Zachary Hunter Cloughley of McConnellsburg, and Christopher James Hayes of Delaware; three beautiful great-grandchildren, Madelyn Ann Porter, Lane William Wolfensberger, and Bria Mae Wolfensberger; and many nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 PA Ave. , Hagerstown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and again following at the funeral home for a reception.

Inurnment will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, (Doey’s House), 747 Northern Ave. , Hagerstown, MD 21742.
