Lois’ Obituary Lois Lillian (Jensen) Jacobsen, 89, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Homewood of Williamsport. Born June 12, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Alfred and Evelyn Marie Jensen. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Carl Jacobsen, who died in 2012; a sister, Grace (Kennedy) Wyse; and her brother, Tom Jensen.

She was a graduate of Steinmetz High School in Chicago. Lois enjoyed sewing and golfing. She was also an avid cook and baker, making wonderful apple pies and holiday cookies.

Lois is survived by four children, Patricia Hamlen and her husband Mark, Reed Jacobsen and his wife Karen, Jack Jacobsen, Jr. and his wife Mary, Jane DiNardo and her husband John; ten grandchildren, Erik Johnson, Ian Jacobsen, Julia Arnhold, Kaitlen Hamlen, Tom Jacobsen, John DiNardo, Jr., Jeff Jacobsen, Christine DiNardo, Lauren Vandenbraak, Briana DiNardo; a step-granddaughter, Kimberly Amicucci; three great-grandchildren, Apollo, A.J., and Aubrey; and three step great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 15th at 11 am at the Historic Chapel at St. Rose of Lima Parish 11701 Clopper Road, Gaithersburg MD. 20878.

Reverend Tony Krisak will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at the church immediately following the service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lois’s name to the Homewood Benevolent Fund, 16505 Virginia Ave. , Hagerstown, MD 21795.
