Obituary for Beth K Parks Beth Suzanne Krisher Parks of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away at home on Sept. 23, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer and heart disease. She was 60.
Born in Massillon, Ohio, she was daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Anita Jane Hutwelker Krisher. She was mother of Jeffrey David Caccavella, who preceded her in death. Beth was a graduate of Central Bucks High School East in Buckingham, Pennsylvania.
She also graduated with honors from the Roper Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Charleston. Her family lived in Charleston during the late 1960s and early 1970s before moving to the Philadelphia area. But Beth was truly a daughter of Charleston and always determined to return.
She moved back to the area in the early 1990s and lived there the rest of her life. Beth lived a high-spirited life and that extended to how she passionately followed the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies. She was especially fervent about the Eagles and was a fixture around town with a large team logo on her car.
Her pals at the local tavern knew she was in the house whenever the Eagles were on the TV. She was especially delighted when the Eagles finally won the Super Bowl in February 2018. Beth lived with her mother in her later years and helped her mom live her final days at home.
She loved her Miniature Schnauzers Sadie and Fritz. Beth is survived by sister Lisa Krisher and brother-in-law Jack Batson of Augusta, Georgia; sister Lynn Bowers and brother-in-law Michael Bowers of Charleston; brother Richard Krisher and sister-in-law Ann Krisher of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; four nephews; two nieces; and former husbands Rick Parks and Pat Caccavella. Interment will be held privately.
