OBITUARY Betty Jane (Yoder) Coffey June 13, 1934 – January 23, 2019 Hickory- Betty Yoder Coffey, 84 of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Carolina Caring, after a brief illness. Born in Catawba County on June 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ray and Blanche Bolick Coffey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Burl Coffey; a sister Margaret Yoder Stine and her brothers Joe Yoder and Ray Yoder.

Betty was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son Rick Coffey of Hickory; a sister-n-law Rosie Yoder and her fur baby Tippy. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm at Zion Lutheran Church.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church with Reverend David Drysdale officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Arrangements are with Hickory Funeral Home.
