OBITUARY Diana Lynn (Grindstaff) Massagee September 28, 1954 – January 20, 2019 HICKORY— Diana Grindstaff Massagee, 64 of Hickory passed away at her residence on January 20, 2019 after a period of declining health. Born in Elizabethton, TN, on September 28, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Teaster Grindstaff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Harris.

Diana was a member of New Testament Church in Hickory. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Massagee of the home, a son Todd Massagee and wife Christy Lyn of Hickory; granddaughter April Childers and husband Jared of Hudson; great grandsons Joseph Massagee of Hickory and Jeremiah Childers of Hudson and a sister Patricia Anderson and husband Donnie of Hickory. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Hayton officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to one’s choice. Arrangements are with Hickory Funeral Home.
