Obituary for Betty Jean Hurst Print Betty Jean Hurst age 74 of Linden, AL died January 29, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Orriville, AL. She was born October 28, 1944 in Marengo County, AL to Oliver B. and Gladys J. Smith. She was a retired bookkeeper with The Democrat Reporter.

She is survived by: three sons, Thomas Wayne Hurst of Magnolia, AL; Dewayne Skinner of Thomaston, AL; and Mark Hurst of Magnolia, AL; three daughters, Glynis Busby of Orrville, AL; Cindy Wood of Sweet Water, AL; and Nedra Autrey of Pine Hill, AL; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.
