Betty Jean Merryman, 96, daughter of Merle & Anna (Loeb) Richardson, was born February 8, 1922 in Sioux City, Iowa. She passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center, Iowa. Betty graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1940.

On January 9, 1943, she married Howard Merryman in Los Angeles, California. To this union two children were born, Neil Larkin and Merle Anne. After WWII, they made their home in Fort Dodge.
