Betty “Joann” Coleman, age 75, of Boonville, IN, passed away at 4:27 p.m. PST on Tuesday afternoon, August 21, 2018, at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. Joann was born October 12, 1942, in Henderson, KY, to Maxie Roland & Elizabeth Arlene (Burgess) Dunn. She graduated from Central High School in 1960.

Joann worked for Strouse’s Department Store in their office until she retired. She is survived by her sister, Wilma (J.D.) Garrett, of Rockport, IN, step son, Ronald William (Kelly) Coleman, of Michigan, brothers, Paul Dunn, of Massachusetts, Wayne Dunn, of Evansville, and Ronnie (Gretchen) Dunn, of North Carolina; step grandchildren, Whitney and Nick Hahn, Jarred & Ethan Coleman, and Jordan Coleman; 6 nieces; and 4 nephews. Joann is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gene Coleman, her parents and step-daughter, Kellie Renae Hahn.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Larry Lamb officiating. Burial will be Private. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
