Obituary for Ruth Seitz Ruth (Muehlbauer) Seitz, 93, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Heritage Center. She was born September 6, 1924, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Philip and Olevia Muehlbauer. Ruth attended Reitz Memorial High School graduating in 1942.

During WWII, Ruth worked at the Evansville Modification Center in the Accounting Department. Following WWII, she was employed in Reservations at Chicago and Southern Airlines, which later became Delta Airlines, retiring in 1984 Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Paula (Harold) Kaetzel, Barbara Seitz, and Laura (Paul) Fulkerson; and three grandchildren, Sara, Lisa and Brian Kaetzel; brother, Donald (Caroline) Muehlbauer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul O. Seitz; siblings, Herman (Louise) Muehlbauer, Harold Muehlbauer, Mary Ann (Walter) Sterneman, Martha (Donald) Wood and Philip (Dorothy) Muehlbauer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 South Hebron Avenue, Evansville. Visitation will continue from 10:00 – 10:30 am, Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Annunciation Parish, Christ the King Campus, 3010 Chandler Ave, Evansville, IN 47714 and where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am, with Father Alex Zenthoefer officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
