OBITUARY Katherine Fisher January 12, 1922 – October 26, 2018 Katherine L. Fisher, 96, of Evansville, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018. She was born on January 12, 1922, in Evansville, Indiana. Katherine was an active member of St. John’s East United Church of Christ.

She was an avid animal lover and supported many animal rescue charities. She also loved flowers and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis W. Ford, who died in 1970 and second husband, Ernest Fisher who died in 1997; son, Darron Ford, who died in 1997; and daughter, Melissa King, who died in 2017.

Katherine is survived by her son, Francis H. Ford; grandchildren, Ronda McLean (Troy) and Shelley Grider; great grandchildren, Stefani Osborne, Zachary McLean and Sara Grider; one great great granddaughter, Sofia Osborne; former daughter-in-law, Edyth Ford; step-children, Kenneth Fisher (Dell), Deloris Sikes and Betty Dayvolt; eight step-grandchildren; and many step-great grandchildren and several step-great great grandchildren. By Katherine’s request, there will be no funeral services. She will be interred at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
