Mr. Howard James Redman, age 72 of Franklin, KY, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 12:59 PM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard. Howard was born Feb.

22, 1946 to the late Denver Lee James and the late Lottie Mae Hughes James. His foster parents Raymond Guy Redman and Jeri Redman, a son Tony McDonald, 3 brothers Jesse Wayne Fehrle, Ed “Weenie” James and Bobby James and a sister Margaret Matthews all preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Sue Crossfield Redman, a son Terry McDonald of Franklin, KY, a brother Jodie James of Franklin, KY, a sister Doris Gibbs of Scottsville, KY, 4 grandchildren Brittany Edwards, Joshua, Tony and D.J. McDonald, a great grandson Janssen Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Redman was a retired serviceman for Western KY Gas and was an Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.
