Randelle “Randy” (Colbert) Head, age 69, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones after battling cancer. Randy was born May 11, 1949, in Evansville, IN, to the late Rudolph “Rudy” and Dorothy (Hayne) Colbert. She graduated from North High School in 1967.

Randy retired from Evansville Animal Control after 28 years of service. She was a fierce advocate for all animals, and she dedicated her life to her loved ones. She is survived by her children, Travis Peay (Vicki), Rick Head (Lisa), and Kelley Curl (Jimmy); grandchildren, Lauren Peay, Aaron Wilks, Bailey Worsdorfer (Brent), Alex Peay, Zach Phillips, Brianna Phillips, Ashley Curl, Shelby Head, Buddy Curl, Colton Curl, and Elliott Curl; and great-grandchildren, Anderson Wilks and Lily Amati.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her longtime friend, Steve Bitter. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor John Schmeling officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until service time, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Evansville Animal Control’s Spirit Medical Fund at 815 East Uhlhorn Street, Evansville, IN 47710. Arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
