Mary T. (Hodgkins) Meredith, 76, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House. Mary was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 3, 1941 to Edward and Lois (Nichols) Hodgkins. She was a unit secretary at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville and was a member of the Eagles.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed arts and crafts and singing in a barbershop quartet. She was an avid animal lover and loved to travel. Mary is survived by her sons,… Read More » Tom Meredith (Barbara) and Martin Meredith, both of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Brendon, Gwynn, Graden, Gavin, and Grace; a brother-in-law, Wesley Thomas of Pennsylvania; nieces Ann Hodgkins, Sandy Carpenter, Pam Hodgkins, Kimberly Brown, and Rae Triplett; and several great nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; a sister, Karen Thomas; and a brother, Farrel Hodgkins and his wife, Janice. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711.
