Betty M. Rood May 27, 1924 – February 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Betty M. Rood of Onondaga Hill, Okeechobbe, FL and Three Mile Bay, passed away Feb. 24 just a few months shy of her 95th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph T. and her daughter-in-law, Pat.

She worked for GE before moving to The Hill where she worked local for Poole Oil who became Ashland. She had a very close group of friends the called “The Club” she was the last member. She loved the summer home Ralph built on Lake Ontario.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Judith (Fred) Bryant; her son, R. Gary Rood; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jonathan) Ward, Tracey (Mark) Collett, and Timothy (Chelsea) Rood; great grandchildren, Lila, Nathan, Reagan, Mary Kate, and Catherine. Graveside services will be at Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.
