Obituary for Betty Dula (Sherrill) Betty Sue Sherrill Dula, age 85, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Springs of Catawba in Hickory, NC. She was born September 11, 1932 in Caldwell County daughter of the late Bruce Russell Sherrill and Mable Bowman Sherrill. Betty loved to travel, dance and she played piano by ear.

She was a member of Grace Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dula is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hamilton of Hickory and Frankie Starnes of Granite Falls, grandchildren, Shelly Epley of Valdese, Bruce Starnes of Granite Falls and Lori Shull of Hudson as well as a great-grandson Jaxsen Shull of Hudson. All services for Mrs. Dula are private.
