Obituary for Beulah Blanchard Beulah Theresa Pinell Blanchard, 86 years old, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, from 9am to 11am, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut, followed by the entombment in Sacred Heart Cemetery next to her husband. Rev Robert Cruz and associates will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
She leaves to cherish her memory five children; daughters, Darlene and her husband, Rodney Savoy; Wanda and her husband, Blaine Bourg; Jennifer and her husband, Dane Domangue; Trudy and her husband, Jody Hebert; and one son, Jordan Acklin Blanchard; her 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Acklin (T-Neg) Blanchard; her parents, Aubin and Gertrude Duplantis Pinell; her grandson, Britt Joseph Domangue; and all 9 of her siblings; sisters, Allen (Tallan) Pinell, Alice (Bodee) Usie, Mildred Areas, Gertrude (Jo) Guidry, and Eula May Boquet, and four brothers, Luby, Albert, Elce, and Druby (LuLut) Pinell. Beulah was a blessing to all her family as she was dearly loved.
She was born July 3, 1931 in Petit Caillou, LA and a resident of Bourg, living most of her life in Montegut, La. She loved sewing, shopping, gambling, and time with her family. She was a homemaker all of her life, working a few years at Wonderland and TARC in Montegut and Houma.
A devout Catholic, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish in Montegut, a member of the Cleaning Angels, a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion, a member and officer of Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society, and a past member of the Montegut Carnival Club. She and her husband were honored to receive the Bishop’s Medal. Beulah was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, and friend.
