Obituary for Beverley Walker Fryer Rasmussen Brinkerhoff Beverley Walker Fryer Rasmussen Brinkerhoff, 92, passed away at Mountainview Care Center in Ogden, UT with family at her side. She was born November 2, 1926 in Ogden, UT to Wallace Otis and Alta Mary Wallwork. She married William Glenn Fryer on June 15, 1945 in Ogden, UT.
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away June 19, 1977. She married J. Keith Rasmussen in the Ogden LDS Temple on October 10, 1980.
He passed away October 30, 2003. She married Rulon Brinkerhoff in Layton, UT on August 1, 2005. He passed away December 22, 2011.
She was a life-long resident of the Ogden area. She worked for many years for the IRS until she retired. Beverley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities in the Auxiliaries of the church.
She and her Husband William were called to start and organize the Boy Scouts of America program in the Ogden area. She was active for many years in the Coastguard Auxiliary with her Husband William. She served a service mission with her Husband Rulon in the Layton Employment Center.
She loved spending time with her family, going camping and loved to read. Harry Potter was her favorite. She loved music and singing.
She was a world traveler and traveled with family all over Europe and took a cruise to the Holy Land. Beverley is survived by her Daughter: Marilyn Penman (Rich), Daughter-in-law: Marsha Fryer; 7 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren and Brother: N. Kay Walker (ReNae) and a host of Nieces and Nephews that she loved like her own. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husbands; Son: Richard Fryer; and Siblings: Bonnie Welker and Wayne Walker.
The family would like to express appreciation to Nurse Maline and Chaplin Jackie at Ogden Regional Medical Center and Inspiration Hospice for the loving care given to Beverley. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 900 West Pleasant View Drive, Pleasant View, UT. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00-10:30a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the Huntsville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions be made to the family that will be used for a Christmas Charity in memory of Beverly. Arrangements entrusted to Provident Funeral Home – Ogden, UT.
