Bill George Monson December 28, 1943 ~ March 22, 2019 Bill George Monson, 75, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was born on December 28, 1943 in Ogden, Utah, the son of William Art and Carma Jeannett Miles Monson. He served for six years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 9. Bill married Nancy Jean and they later divorced. He married Darlene and they later divorced.

He then married Verla and they later divorced. He enjoyed being a master mechanic and he loved playing with old cars. Bill is survived by his sons, Bill and Toni Monson of Price, Bret Monson of Roy, Cliff and LeeAnn Monson of Roy, Monty Monson of Roy, and Brandon and Shelly Monson of Roy; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy and Sherry Monson of Taylor; and sisters, Bonnie and Leonard Torman of Ogden and Maxcine Medina of Roy.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashtyn Monson; parents; brothers, Darwin Monson and Jack Monson; and his grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
