Billy James Morrison 71, of Moss Drive Concord, NC passed away February 5, at the Tucker Hospice House. He was born March 8, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late James Whitley Morrison and the late Lila Mack Morrison. Billy was a 1965 graduate of Logan High School and Central Piedmont Community College.

He served in the US Army and was formerly employed by CAT. Billy was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee, Usher and was a member of the Soul Brothers Car Club. Services will be held Monday, February 11, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Mary Moss Morrison of the home; daughter, Janira Morrison of the home; two sons, Andre Moss (Beverly) of Concord, Byron Moss (Toni) of Charlotte; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby McCauley of Concord, Myrtle Weathers of Brooklyn, NY; special son Larry Morrison (Betty) of Charlotte and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
