Mr. Robert Lee “Bob” Williams, 83, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate.

Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm Wednesday at Lady’s Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born May 9, 1935 in Cabarrus County.

He was a son of the late Arthur Burnette Williams and Minnie Lee Owens Williams. Bob was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed gardening, and building bird houses.

Bob retired from Cannon Mills Company, as a supervisor in the weave room, for 40 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Mr. Williams is survived two daughters, Peggy Elaine Niblock and husband Gary of Statesville and Phyllis Jean Wilson of Salisbury; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
