Martha Diane Taylor Gregory, 73, of Coliseum Ave. , Kannapolis, NC passed away Tuesday, March 12, at Atrium Health-Northeast. She was born May 31, 1945 in Cabarrus County to the late C.B. Taylor and the late Martha James Perry Taylor.

Diane as she fondly know was educated in the Cabarrus County School System. She was graduate of G. W. Carver High School and furthered her education at Barber Scotia College. Diane was formerly employed with Linn-Corriher Mills.

She was a member of United Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Board. Services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at United Baptist Church, 3001 Clermont Ave. , Kannapolis, NC.

Visitation will be at 1:00 – 2:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “June” Gregory; her sister, Barbara T. Sharpe.

Those left to cherish fond memories include one son, Homer Brent Gregory (Sonya) of Salisbury; one grandson, Nicholas Gregory of Welcome, NC; one sister, Gaynell McCauley of Kannapolis; two special great nieces, Taylor Grier and Suave McCauley; three nephews, Jeffrey McCauley, Sean McCauley (Lindsey) and Brian Sharpe (Felicia); one niece, Anita Sharpe; three great nephews, Saadiq McCauley, William Sharpe and Justin McCauley; five other great nieces, Madison McCauley, Alexis McCain, Brianna Holland, Jasmine Holland, Shelby Sharpe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
