Mrs. Martha Louise Williamson Mills, 97, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Wade Easom will officiate.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, March 11, 2019 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 pm Sunday at Lady’s Funeral Home. Mrs. Mills was born July 5, 1921 in Winnsboro, SC.

She was a daughter of the late Council Monroe Williamson and Esther Arnette Williamson. She was a member of Living Water Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Boggan Mills.

Mrs. Mills is survived by her husband, George Richard Mills; daughter, Cynthia Denise Mills of Kannapolis; two sons, Kenneth Gerald Mills and wife Janet of Kannapolis and Kenneth Michael Mills and wife Angela of Granite Quarry; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to Living Water Church of God, 166 North Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
