Billy Joe “BJ” “Joe” Bullock of Niles passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 8:10 a.m. in the Niles Shepherd of the Valley. He was 79. Joe, as he was known by his family was born on February 11, 1939 in Anderson, IN, the son of the late Isaac Leonard and Leva Ellen Wilson Bullock.

He attended McDonald and Girard School Systems. Following high school, Joe proudly served our country in the United States Army. Mr. Bullock was employed for 30 years at Packard Electric retiring as a die setter.

BJ, as he was known by his friends, was of Protestant faith. He was a member of the Girard Fraternal Order of Eagles – Aerie 2172, Sharon Elks Lodge 103, the Italian Fraternal Home in Girard, OH, and the American Romanian Club in Girard. In addition to his memberships, BJ enjoyed camping at Lake Erie and Bradenton, FL.

He loved being outdoors playing a good round of golf locally or traveling with friends to various courses. He is survived by his son, William (Lori) Bullock of Spring Hill, FL; his companion, Diane Latronica of Niles; a special friend, Kathy Bullock of Niles; a brother, Donald Taylor of Middletown, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac L. Bullock and his mother Leva E. Taylor; 2 sisters, Ella Magda and Imogene Stewart; 3 brothers, James Stewart, Robert Bullock, and John Bullock; 2 nephews, David Stewart and Steve Magda.
