Obituary for Blanche Marie Gavin Blanche Marie Moore Gavin of Heidelberg was born on April 2, 1943 and left this world on Saturday, October 06, 2018. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Gavin was retired from Sumrall Oil Company in Bay Springs and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Gavin was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mitchell Gavin, brother James C. Moore, father Coleman Moore and mother Beatrice West Moore. She is survived by her brother John W. (Elaine) Moore of Laurel. Children Megan (Jessie) McMullan of Ellisville, Holly (Todd) Green of Heidelberg, Mitch (Lorita) Gavin of Heidelberg and James S. (Jamie) Gavin of Hattiesburg.

Grandchildren Daphne (Wayne) Smith of Petal, Kaycee McMullan of Hattiesburg, Larry (Candice) McMullan of Ellisville, Jami (Joe Michael) Rose of Hattiesburg, Jessica (Eli) Strickland of Laurel, Landra Gavin of Laurel, Tyler and Tatum Gavin both of Hattiesburg and Ryan Twiner of Ellisville. Fourteen great grandchildren with two more girls on the way and a special friend Jerry McRae of Heidelberg. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 7 from 5-8 pm at Memory Chapel in Laurel.

The service will be held on Monday October 8 at 2 pm at Heidelberg Baptist Church. Interment will be in Heidelberg Cemetery. Rev.
