Obituary for Dorice Towns Brogan Dorice Towns Brogan, born in Felsenthal, Arkansas on March 22, 1933, passed away on October 5, 2018 in Laurel. Mrs. Brogan was 85. She lived in Shreveport, LA prior to moving to Laurel where she made her home for 54 years.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, painting, and sports. Mrs. Brogan is preceded in death by her parents, Burna and Cornelia Towns; husband, Charles Brogan; siblings, Adolph Towns, Ferris Towns, and Nelwyn Talton Towns; and grandson, Daniel Brogan. She is survived by two sons, Mark Brogan of Ellisville and Donald Brogan of Laurel; two daughters, Cynthia B. Swindle of Mobile, AL and Linda B. Jordan of Diamondhead, MS; sister, Burnice Towns McWilliams; three grandsons, Jared Brogan, Joel Brogan, and Steffen Swindle; and four great grandsons, Patrick, Colin, Garrett, and Andrew Brogan.

Graveside services will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Monday, October 8th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donation are encouraged for Laurel Animal Rescue or Christian Food Mission. Memory Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. To sign the online guest book, visit www.
