Obituary for Sally Warren Townsend Sally Warren Townsend, age 87, of Laurel, passed away on October 4, 2018. Mrs. Townsend was born in Hattiesburg on May 11, 1931 to Samuel Warren and Ava Frost Warren. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Baptist Hospital for 23 years as a registered dietitian.

She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her son, James R. Townsend II. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James T. Townsend of Laurel; son, Kiah Townsend (Kayleen) of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Jamie, Madison, and Alexandra Townsend; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Monday, October 8, 2018. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and the service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Sharon Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
