Obituary for Bobbie Manning Mrs. Bobbie Johnson Manning, age 90, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born July 26, 1928 in Meriwether County to the late Robert Johnson and Opal Rowe Johnson. Along with her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wayne Manning and her sister, Laverne Mallory.

She is survived by her children, Gwen Rains, Julie Pittman (Phil); grandchildren, Wayne Raines (Nicole), Chris Raines (Rhonda), Michelle Hayes, Carrie Hourigan (Jim), Charlie Pittman (Lorena); great grandchildren, Alexis Raines, Davey Raines, Caden Raines, Abbi Hayes, Matthew Raines, Jimmy Hourigan, Emily Hourigan, Sydney Hourigan and niece, Patricia Walters. The funeral service celebrating the life of Bobbie is Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 3 PM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with Dr. Phil Pilgrim officiating. Following the service burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Sunday until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Bobbie’s name to either American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree St. NE Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30303 or American Cancer Society, P.O.
