Obituary for Mrs. Bonnie M. Demmerly Bonnie M. Demmerly, 78, Green Bay and a former long time resident of N. Fort Myers Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 with her family by her side after a brief illness. Bonnie was born on August 24, 1940 in Iron Mountain, MI the daughter of the now late Archie and Marcella (Kupsch) Best. On May 30, 1959 she married James “Jim” Demmerly at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the couple enjoyed over 36 years together.

Jim preceded her in death on February 5, 1996. Bonnie is survived by her children Diane (Al) Gossen, Sue VanderKelen, Sharon (Billy) Gibson, Ron Demmerly, 10 grandchildren Bridget (David) Johnson, Brittany (Luke) Swagel, Justin (Michelle) Gossen, Maggie VanderKelen, Jordan VanderKelen, Kayla (Mike) Martell, Errol, Brian, Zachary and Damion Demmerly, 10 great-grandchildren Hailey, Devon, Bella, Ethan, Noah, Evelyn, Gage, Ember, Aria and Malachi, one sister and brother-in-law Connie (Brian) Campbell, one brother and sister-in-law Ron (Jean) Best. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son Rick Demmerly, one brother Don Best. Bonnie loved spending time with her family and the many cookouts they used to have~ so in accordance with her wishes the family is going to have a private family cookout in Memory of her. She will be buried next to her husband and son at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

The family is so appreciative to all those that stopped by the house to bring food, to say “hi’ and especially the prayers~ your kindness will never be forgotten.
