Mrs. Bonnie Killough Edwards, age 88, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Rose Hill Retirement Community in Marion. She was born in McDowell County on September 12, 1930 to the late Henry Augusta Killough and Bertha Stroud Killough. Bonnie was retired from Coats American where she worked as a Quality Control Specialist and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion.

Her husband of 46 years, Arthur C. Edwards, preceded her in death. Surviving her are two sons, Mike Edwards and Marc Edwards and wife Kristine, all of Marion; two grandchildren, Adam and Katelyn Edwards; one great-grandson, Maddox; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Arthur.
