Ruby Roberts Ayers, age 82, of the Glenwood Community, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her residence following a brief illness. The daughter of the late James and Lola Ray Roberts, she was born in Asheville, North Carolina on December 31, 1935. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Aileen Peterson.

Those left to cherish Ruby’s memories are two daughters, Brenda Hall and Ronda Kuehne; three grandchildren, Melissa Hall, Valerie Ceron and Zachary Kuehne; five great grandchildren, Zane Hall, Alec Hall, Julius Hall, Jovian Hall and Nikki Ceron; and four siblings, Gene Roberts (Gail), Larry Roberts, Gladys Bass and Dexter Roberts. A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
